About the profession
Issues concerning management of activities of an efficient life for a modern person in the various spheres and development potential are determined nowadays by the realities of the economic, legal and social situation, characteristic of the world community in general, and particularly in Russia. Previously, it would have been unthinkable that a Russian citizen would at an early age need to learn to function independently in today's life. It would have been difficult to imagine citizens acting independently when previously it was the states sole prerogative. With personal independence, law turns into a powerful regulator of relations in a society or state. This independence causes enormous growth of legislation; sprouting into the spheres which, with the former way of organizing of state power, would not be needed or wanted. Teaching people to navigate through the complex issues of legislation and to use it for defending their rights becomes a priority for institutes and schools of law.
Educational process
Judicial activities, prosecutorial activities, human rights and law enforcement, and judicial authority. Structure, functions, activities, law enforcement, prosecutorial activities, organizational and legal foundations and directions, human rights, advocacy and notaries.
Practical training
Practical training is a mandatory component of the post-graduate curriculum. It consists of a number of practical activities such as teaching certain subjects, class activity management, scientific and methodical work on a subject, and acquisition of necessary teaching skills. The aim of teaching practicum is the study of basics of pedagogical, educational and methodical work at the institutions of higher education; mastering teaching skills in conducting classes on various subjects from the specialization curriculum. The main objective of teaching practicum is to show the results of comprehensive psychological, pedagogical, socio-economic and IT readiness of a post-graduate for teaching activities. Besides, post-graduates have access to fieldwork in government agencies, Russian and international companies.
Career
The knowledge obtained at the postgraduate specialization “Judicial Authority, procuratorial supervision, management of law enforcement, advocacy and notaries” can be used for work in international organizations, Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, in European Court of Human Rights, in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian; and work as practicing lawyers. The program meets the needs of actual law enforcement officials, future attorneys and notaries.
