About the profession
All branches of law are rapidly developing and the market requires highly trained professionals. There is no doubt that criminal law will not become less relevant and needed in the future. Criminal law has been taught at RUDN University since 1983, which indicates ample experience shared with students of all levels of study, as well as with postgraduates and postdoctoral students.

Soon I am to present my Master’s thesis. I am 100% sure of scientific relevance and significance of my work, because I was aided by some of the best experts in criminal law. A year of studying at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University provided me with tremendous experience which provided the basis for my scientific work devoted to comparative analysis of criminal legislation of two countries. By the way, thanks to this work I received scholarship.
I find it particularly appealing that under this program of study we have an opportunity to do professional training in law-enforcement bodies, especially in the sphere of criminalistics. I believe that it is very interesting and useful to take part in handling criminal cases and in forensic investigations. I saw something like that in Sherlock Holmes movies. It is the practical training that I consider the most valuable part of the course.
I am already working in the Investigative Committee, so I decided to undertake a master’s degree at the Institute of Law. To begin with, it is easy to combine work and studies here (classes start at 6p.m.). For another thing, the names of professors who teach at Department of Criminal Law are well-known to me. Most of them are practicing lawyers from government bodies, have military ranks. I knew that I will be taught by true professionals.
